Welcome to grainandpixel.art, an online magazine about contemporary photography.
I decided to create this magazine because I wanted to get to know photographers that work today. Both professionals and amateurs. There are already a number of people who publish interviews with photographers, but I wanted to go deeper. I wanted to learn where they came from, what made them tick, how they worked, where they were going, what they were interested in, what photography was for them. In short: I wanted to know everything about them.
So, in grainandpixel.art, I’m planning to publish interviews with photographers you know and photographers you don’t. I’m planning to show off their work and their portfolios. And if possible, after you’re finished with the articles, make you feel like you have a new artistic friend.
